Such a great experience last week with Bella Clark (Bella Clark Photo) in Destin,FL at the beach.
Bella reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in doing photoshoot, so we made a plan and created magic! We decided to shoot at Henderson State Park in Destin, this is a such a beautiful beach, with many different things to do besides the beach. There is a playground for the kids, nature trails, picnic tables scattered throughout and they also offer events to be held there. There is a fee to get in but you pay for the day, so if you leave to go do something, you can come right back.
It ended up being a beautiful day after having days of freezing weather and rain. The temp was around 56 degrees and the sun was shinning with out a cloud in the sky, even though I was so cold, I stuck it out! What ever it takes, right?
We started off the shoot at the playground. Which was fun since there were swings, we thought it would be a cool set to do and change it up a little bit from just taking photos on the beach. Then we walked our way down one of the nature trails to the next set of sets. We ended up on the beach for the last shoot, when it was almost sunset, which was absolutely beautiful. Destin beaches are really like no other, white soft sand and beautiful clear emerald green water.
I had such a great time working with Bella on this shoot, and was so anxious to see the outcome of the pictures all throughout the shoot. She is such a pleasure to work with and made me feel so confident and comfortable. Doing a photo shoot can be nerve racking and definitely spike some nervousness when there is an abundance of people around, but she made it to where it only felt like at the beach.
I definitely plan to do another shoot with Bella in the near future and would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer while they are in Destin!
